Deerfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, comfortable environment for our residents by ensuring all linens and personal clothing are properly cleaned and handled with care.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute facility linens and residents’ personal clothing
- Ensure proper handling and separation of soiled laundry
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Label and return resident clothing accurately
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
